"Responsive Reading - He Will Come"

Leader: Anticipation grows within us.

Group: The day of Your call is near.

Leader: There is no war nor division in the world that is beyond Your capacity to heal.

Group: The day of Your call is near.

Leader: There is no hatred in the cosmos that cannot be transformed by Your forgiving love.

Group: The day of Your call is near.

Leader: There is no social ill, relational breach, nor systemic evil that will not dissolve at Your touch.

Group: The day of Your call is near.

Leader: In this Christmas season, we sing with the prophets.

Group: That You have come and will bring the peace of God to all human conditions.

Leader: Every man, woman and child is made to dance within Your Law of Love.

Group: The day of Your call is very near.

Leader: In this Christmas season, we shout with the children.

Group: Oh Sathya Sai, quiet a world screaming in pain and ignorant of Your Presence.

Leader: Swami, we pray along with believers around the world.

Group: Master of hearts, bring harmony to the discord between us and those unlike us.

ALL TOGETHER: Oh, Sathya Sai, we recognize that You are the God who alone can bring restoration to a fallen planet. Your capacity to restore broken relationships, communities, nations and ancient rivalries is boundless. Come, restore peace to our hearts today and intervene among our BROKEN human family.

Lord, make us instruments of this same transforming peace wherever we go. We prepare our hearts in this Christmas season by praying, listening, singing and responding to Your restoring forgiveness. With the ancients, saints and sages who await You, we say “Prince of Peace, plant the seeds of Your coming restoration in our hearts. After Your likeness, let Vasanthamayam make us and all the world devotees of God and Your peacemakers.” With the ancients, saints and sages who await You, we say “King of Kings and Lord of Lords, come quickly to us, right Your world, and spark the dawn of New Creation. Let the Sathya Yuga, the Amrith Yuga begin!”

Amen, Om shanti, shanti, shanti

"Our Divine Mother"

Where shall you seek beauty, and how shall you find her unless she herself be your way and your guide?

And how shall you speak of her except she be the weaver of your speech?

The aggrieved and the injured say, "Beauty is kind and gentle. Like a young mother half-shy of her own glory she walks among us."

And the passionate say, "Nay, beauty is a thing of might and dread. Like the tempest she shakes the earth beneath us and the sky above us."

The tired and the weary say, "beauty is of soft whisperings. She speaks in our spirit. Her voice yields to our silences like a faint light that quivers in fear of the shadow."

But the restless say, "We have heard her shouting among the mountains, And with her cries came the sound of hoofs, and the beating of wings and the roaring of lions."

In the winter the snow-bound say, "She shall come with the spring leaping upon the hills." And in the summer heat the reapers say, "We have seen her dancing with the autumn leaves, and we saw a drift of snow in her hair."

All these things have you said of beauty. Yet in truth you spoke not of her but of needs unsatisfied, And beauty is not a need but an ecstasy.

It is not a mouth thirsting nor an empty hand stretched forth,

But rather a heart enflamed and a soul enchanted.

Note: Vasantha Amma is currently writing a book explaining the 30 days prior to Swami leaving His body. This book describing Maha Pralaya is based on the daily ‘divine post’ messages she receives from Swami and her conversations in meditation with Him.

What is Prema?

What is Prema? It is unsullied Love. Bhagavan is the embodiment of Prema, Bhagavan is Love incarnate. Devotees all over the world are familiar with the following lines of Bhagavan. Love is my form, Truth is breath.

For all the Love Bhagavan showers on us, He asks us only Love (Prema) in return. By showering our love and Bhakthi we get in return the exalted state of Mukthi.

Let us try to earn the Grace of Bhagavan as suggested by the Saivaite Poet, Sri Manickavachagar, who lived in the early years of 20th century. Sri Manickavachagar asks us to imagine a system of barter wherein we and Bhagavan are co-traders. We are full of shortcomings. Bhagavan in His extreme compassion, will accept us as the commodity and in return, He will offer Himself, In this exchange we are the beneficiaries.

Why should we delay or hesitate when such a Bhagavan is amidst us?

The compassionate Lord is willing to act as a fool and make us feel wiser so that we surrender to Him. God loves to be fooled if it is meant for the Good of Humanity.

We should act immediately. Do not waste time. All that we have to do is to follow the guidelines suggested by Vedas, Sastras & by Him. If we do so, Bhagavan will appear before us.

Again we don't have to get worried and worked up as to how to learn Sastras in this sort span of life. The compassionate Lord has shown us a simple way

How can we help Swami !!!

Dear Devotees,

Swami has undergone so much suffering over the last few days and has been admitted to the hospital. I have also not been well for the last few months. Many of those who are here and who come here have seen my suffering directly. Now Swami is in the hospital and many people are asking what they can do. All in the world are chanting many different mantras. The minds and thoughts of all are focused on Swami.

Swami said that there would be much destruction in the world from last Christmas onwards. I have written about this in my book. It happened and is still happening; there are disasters, destruction and unrest in many places. It is good if all minds focus on God at these times. Swami is also suffering now. It is due to the karmas of all in the world that Nature gets angry. Each and everyone in this world is responsible for this. For the last 85 years, Swami has been trying to change mankind for this reason. All in the world must change. Let all of us make a vow to change at least one bad quality in ourselves.

I was crying more and called to all devas, gods and goddesses to do something. Swami and I have taken the 580 crores of karmas on our body, the sufferings of all those births in this one birth. Has any Avatar ever suffered in this way in their body? It is only happening in this Avataric period. It is for this reason the Avatar does not descend in Kali Yuga. Have we ever heard of Rama being admitted to the hospital in Ayodhya? Was Krishna admitted to the hospital and had an operation in Mathura? Why has this Avatar had to suffer so much? Hip operation, eye operation, fracture to His hand! How much suffering He has had to undergo? He is the one who cures the diseases of others. How many operations He has performed on His devotees. He is God! He can do anything! Yet, He is suffering in the body! Why a heart operation! No, no!

Oh people of the world, you contemplate! It is for your karmas that God is suffering in the body. People all over the world are chanting different mantras. But, I am asking each one of you to make a strong decision to take leave of one bad habit. It is this alone that will cure Swami. The Avatar has only come to this Earth to transform it. He has come here to redeem you from the cycle of birth and death. If you want to help Him, then do this. Contemplate and think how much Swami has done for all; how all have benefited. Now is the time to show your gratitude and change one of your bad qualities.

Once Swami performed an operation materializing all instruments by merely waving His hands in the air. How many people has He cured? If He thinks, can He not cure Himself? Why has He not done so? It is because I have asked Him to bestow Universal Liberation. This is something that has never been given before and the Avatar does not bestow. Now for the sake of world karmas, He has had to have an operation and a pacemaker. It is due to your karmas that you make His heart ‘pieces of peace’. So many doctors have come to examine and look after Swami. All think that He needs an operation. Can this disease be cured by doctors? No! This is world karmas.

For the last few days, the entire world is praying one pointedly; all are focusing their minds on Swami. Through this, some pollution may decrease in the world. This is the only thing we can do for Swami. We are the reason for His suffering. For Swami, I am praying to all of you, to everyone with tears in my eyes. Oh worldly people please change yourself! Enough of Swami’s suffering. You please cure Him. This Avatar has descended here for your sake and your suffering. All of you please show compassion to me and please decrease Swami’s suffering. God is the life breath of the world. He is the life breath for all. Yet, now God is given oxygen!

How strange! Please, please do this.

Jai Sai Ram,
Vasantha Sai

Important Principles of Life ...

In his book Sandeha Nivarani, Bhagvan sathya Sai Baba tells briefly about the principles we have to follow in our lives. Bhagavan related to a devotee that Parvathi had told Shiva that chanting of Vishnu’s 1000  names took too much time and was difficult to remember. So, she requested Shiva to give her the essence in one single name.

As she has asked, I will also briefly tell the important principles to be followed by man.

1. Believe Prema is the breath of life.

Prema is the breath of life.

2. Believe that love is Paramatma, which perceives everything equally.

3. The same Paramatma exists in everyone in the form of love.

4. Those in pursuit of eternal bliss should not pursue sensual pleasures.

5. Only Truth should be followed as the life giving breath. Just as a lifeless body rots and gives a bad smell within a few hours, in the same way the life without Truth will be unfit for life and will be filled with a ‘foul’ smell.

6. Believe there is nothing more supreme than Truth. There is nothing precious than Truth. There is nothing sweeter than Truth. Truth is eternal.

7. Truth alone is God who gives protection from everything. There is no protector higher than Truth. God the embodiment of Truth gives His Dharma to those having true speech and a heart melting with love.

8. All living beings should be loved with full compassion. One should behave in a selfless manner.

9. It is necessary for everyone to have control over the senses, be ever virtuous and maintain a detached attitude.

10. Four Don’ts: Speaking ill of others, talking about the wrongs and defects of others, backbiting, speaking more than required. These are the defects relating to speech.

Eradicate ill feelings as they arise.

11. Five Sins performed through the body - Murder, robbery, cunningness, drug addiction, meat eating. Those who want to lead a noble life should avoid all these things.

12. Eight Offences of the mind Kama(Desire), Krodha(Anger), Lobha (Lust), Moha (Delusion), Jealousy, Comfort, Hatred and Ego. One should not be jealous of the prosperity of others and should not trouble others.

13. We should be happy at others happiness.

14. Feel compassion for those in poverty and misery and pray for them. Help them. By doing this, the love for Bhagavan will grow.

15. Patience alone will give a man, his required strength.

A Humble Request!!!

Take a Vow!

Swami has protected so many people, saving them from dangers, problems, disaster and difficulties. Those who have experienced His Love, should follow atleast one of Swami’s teachings, out of gratitude to Him. Those who believe that Swami is God and those who are benefited from Him must all take a vow -- Read more ... "

Recent E-Books!!!

Amma's recent e-books

Released on 1st Jan 2014

In this book, we have seen God's great mysterious unfolding drama. Just as each person has their own point of view, the saints, sages and siddhas have written according to their viewpoint, angle and the extent of Truth revealed to them. Though each nadi is different, all describe the same events, but with the individual emphasis of the sage or siddha. Four main themes run throughout the nadis:

1.      Swami returns in the Sathya Sai form.
2.      Amma is Swami's Shakthi.
3.      Amma's body merges as a jyothi with Swami.
4.      The coming of the Sathya Yuga, the Golden Age and Prema Sai happens.
